Background As a relative of Joseph Emberton and an architect myself I have over the years acquired various photos, drawings and stories about him from various people. There are various very good sources of information online and at Brighton University, as well as the book by Rosemary Ind. But I think the time has come for me to put some of the material I have collected over the years onto this website as a tribute and to help students with research - Rod Emberton Architect, Chester
Acknowledgments and Thanks Lots of people have helped me over the years, especially Joe's late daughter Jocelyn, and the people at Pleasure Beach.
I will put particular acknowledment and thanks in also in particular pages as and where.
The site is of course meant to continue to develop and anyone is of course welcome to send in comments and queries via the contact form.
